Using AI-Powered Filtering
Use natural language to filter test cases on the Explore page. Describe what you're looking for in plain English and Qualflare automatically applies the right filters.
AI-Powered Filtering
Instead of manually building filters, you can describe what you're looking for in plain English. Qualflare's AI filter translates your description into structured filters and applies them instantly.
Where It Works
AI filtering is available on the Explore page. Look for the sparkle (✦) icon on the filter bar to activate AI mode.
Activating AI Filter Mode
- Navigate to Explore in the project sidebar.
- Click the sparkle icon (✦) on the filter bar to switch to AI mode.
- The input field will show animated example prompts cycling through.
Writing a Query
Type your request in natural language and press Enter. For example:
Show me all failed automated test cases from the Login suiteHigh priority manual cases created in the last 30 daysActive tests that haven't been updated in 6 monthsAll regression tests marked as critical priorityThe AI will:
- Interpret your description
- Map it to available filter fields (state, priority, test type, automation type, suite, date range)
- Apply the filters to the case table
Be specific. Including state (failed, active), priority (high), and context (Login suite, last month) gives the AI more to work with.
Exiting AI Mode
Press Escape or click the X button to exit AI filter mode and return to the standard filter bar. Your applied filters remain in effect.
Saving AI-Generated Filters
After the AI applies filters, you can save the result as a named query using the Save Query button. This lets you reuse the same filter combination without describing it again.
