Slack Integration
Connect Qualflare to Slack to receive notifications about defects, milestones, failure clusters, and test results in your Slack channels.
Slack Integration
The Slack integration sends Qualflare event notifications to your Slack channels. Stay informed about new defects, milestone updates, and failure clusters without leaving Slack.
Setup
Step 1: Install the Slack App
- Go to Workspace Settings → Integrations
- Find Slack under Notifications
- Click Connect with Slack
- You are redirected to Slack to authorize the Qualflare app
- Select your Slack workspace, then click Allow
- You are redirected back to Qualflare with the integration installed
Step 2: Configure Per-Project Notifications
- Go to Project → Integrations
- Click Configure on the Slack integration
- Select the Slack channel to post notifications to
- Save the configuration
Notification Events
| Event | What's Sent |
|---|---|
| Defect created | Defect title, severity, and link |
| Defect assigned | Assignee name, defect title, and link |
| Milestone updated | Milestone name and status change |
| Failure cluster created | Cluster label, severity, failure count, and link |
| Test plan updated | Plan name and change summary |
You can configure separate channels for different event types by adjusting the project notification settings in Project Settings → Notifications.
Disconnecting
To remove the Slack integration, go to Workspace Settings → Integrations, find Slack, and click Disconnect.
