AI in Qualflare
Qualflare's AI features: AI Insights, Failure Clusters, AI Launch Analysis, Quo and the AI filter, with the project AI switch and per-plan usage limits.
Last updated
In Qualflare, AI features analyze the test results you upload and help you write tests; one project switch, Enable AI Features, turns AI analysis, Quo and the AI filter on or off, and AI Launch Analysis runs on every plan.
| Fact | Detail |
|---|---|
| Where | AI Insights and Failure Clusters under Analysis in the project sidebar; AI Launch Analysis on a launch's Overview tab; the switch in Project Settings > AI Features |
| Plans | AI Launch Analysis: All plans (available on Starter, Core, Scale, Enterprise, Open Source). Failure Clusters: Starter, Core, Scale, Enterprise (available on Starter, Core, Scale, Enterprise). AI Insights: Core, Scale, Enterprise (available on Core, Scale, Enterprise) |
| Who | Viewing: Viewer+ · project (requires the Viewer role or higher in the project). Merging clusters or accepting recommendations: Editor+ · project (requires the Editor role or higher in the project). The switch: Editor+ · workspace (requires the Editor role or higher in the workspace), and in the web app also Editor+ · project (requires the Editor role or higher in the project) |
| Limits | Each feature has its own allowance; see AI usage limits |
| CLI and MCP | qf <identifier> clusters list and qf <identifier> cluster get <id> (Clusters commands); list_failure_clusters and get_failure_cluster (MCP server reference) |
What runs after each upload
Each time you upload results, for example with qf <identifier> collect (Upload results), Qualflare runs three jobs on the new launch:
- failure clustering, when the launch has failures;
- AI Launch Analysis;
- case analysis, meaning flaky detection and the redundancy check behind AI Insights.
Launches you start in the app (manual runs) are not clustered and get no AI Launch Analysis.
Analysis features
Qualflare's analysis features each have their own page:
AI Insights
Recommendations that flag flaky and redundant test cases for you to accept or dismiss.
Failure Clusters
Failures grouped by root cause, named at 5 failures, with a defect for each cluster.
AI Launch Analysis
A risk level, summary, failing areas and recommendations for every uploaded launch.
AI Features settings and limits
Per-plan AI allowances, when they reset, and the project AI switch.
Assistants and coding agents
Qualflare's assistants and coding agents each have their own page:
Quo agent
Analyze coverage, suggest test cases and generate steps; nothing changes until you confirm.
AI filter in Explore
Turn a plain-English request into Explore filters.
Claude Code plugin
Generate tests, upload results and fix failures from Claude Code.
Claude Code plugin reference
Every slash command, the coverage nudge rules and the state files.
Turn AI on or off
To turn Qualflare's AI on or off for a project, use the Enable AI Features switch in Project Settings > AI Features (Project Settings); it is on for new projects. Off stops clustering, new launch analyses, the redundancy check, Quo and the AI filter, while flaky detection keeps running; see Project AI settings.
AI usage limits
Each AI feature in Qualflare has its own allowance, set by the workspace's plan: Quo has daily and monthly message limits, the other features have monthly allowances, and failure clusters count the clusters a workspace holds at once; some plans have no cap on launch analysis or failure clusters. Only the workspace Owner sees usage, on Plan & Billing; see AI usage limits and Plans and limits.
