Manage your account
Edit your Qualflare profile and photo, find each account page, set cookie preferences, delete your account, and see when an unused account is deactivated.
Last updated
In Qualflare, your account holds your profile and sign-in methods for every workspace you belong to; you manage it under Account, and Delete Account signs you out everywhere at once and erases the account 30 days later.
Before you begin
You need no role: every signed-in member has these pages. To open them, click your avatar in the top-right corner of the app and select Account.
Account pages
The Account page lists its pages in four groups:
| Group | Page | What it holds | Docs |
|---|---|---|---|
| Account | Profile | Your name, profession and photo, and Delete Account | Edit your profile |
| Account | Connected Accounts | GitHub and Google sign-in | Connected accounts |
| Account | Update Password | Your password | Change your password |
| Preferences | Analytics & Privacy | Cookie preferences | Set cookie preferences |
| Security | Two-Factor Authentication | Your authenticator app and recovery codes | Two-factor authentication |
| Security | Passkeys | Your passkeys | Passkeys |
| Security | Sessions | Where you're signed in | Manage active sessions |
| Access | Invitations | Project invitations waiting for you | Accept an invitation |
Edit your profile
- Open Account > Profile.
- Set First Name (at least 2 characters), Last Name and Profession.
- Click Save Profile.
To change your photo, click it at the top of the Profile page and choose a PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF image under 5 MB. Your email address shows on the Profile page, but it has no field to change it.
Set cookie preferences
Open Account > Analytics & Privacy, and under Cookie Preferences select Manage Preferences to choose which cookies and tracking technologies the app uses. The Cookie Policy lists the cookies, and section 7 of the Privacy Notice describes what product analytics collects.
Delete your account
Delete Account deactivates your account at once and signs you out everywhere. After 30 days Qualflare permanently erases it, with your profile, sign-in methods, access tokens, workspace memberships and Quo conversations. Access tokens you created stop working right away, so CI pipelines that use them fail. To stop the erasure, contact support before the 30 days end.
Open your profile
Open Account > Profile, and click Delete Account on the Delete Account card at the bottom of the page.
Type your email address
In the dialog, type your account's email address to confirm.
Confirm the deletion
Click Delete Account. Qualflare signs you out and shows Your account has been deactivated and will be permanently erased in 30 days.
If you hold the Owner role in a workspace, Qualflare refuses until you delete the workspaces you own: see Delete projects and the workspace.
Inactive accounts are deactivated
If you don't sign in, use a session or use an access token you created for 45 days, Qualflare emails you Your account will be deactivated on <date>. If the account is still unused after that warning, Qualflare deactivates it at 60 days. An account that holds the Owner role in any workspace is never deactivated this way. Only support can restore a deactivated account: see Getting Help.
